After an inspiring Opening Plenary and first day of the Club of Rome’s International Conference on Earth-Humanity Reconciliation, in Suzhou, China; Day 2 of the conference continues with discussion and reflection on the pursuit of planetary peace and human security, rooted in inclusive and global cooperation. This morning, BRIDGES Executive Director, Steven Hartman, took part in an enriching session which focussed on the intersection of culture, learning, and imagination as the driving forces behind humanity's ability to live regeneratively.

We're heartened to share a significant moment featuring our UNESCO-MOST BRIDGES Coalition members, the Kogi people and the Tairona Heritage Trust (THT). Kogi Ambassador, José Manuel, and THT trustee, Vian Sharif, have been in Rome for the Vatican's Jubilee of Knowledge. Yesterday, José Manuel delivered a highly successful talk on the Munekan Masha project, which was reportedly met with great interest from attendees. Today, the delegation anticipates a special audience with Pope Francis.
