BRIDGES Guiding Instruments and Workshops Day: MOST Transformations Week 2026

To help Member States navigate rapid socio-ecological transformations, BRIDGES is launching three interconnected guiding instruments:

Manifesto and Policy Framework: To be launched during the MOST Forum (29 September) and the MOST IGC during MOST Transformations Week.
Policy Toolkit: Designed to support the implementation of the first two instruments.

Policy Toolkit Development - BRIDGES Workshops Day: 30 September 2026

The Policy Toolkit will be developed through an inclusive, rigorous process beginning on 30 September during the BRIDGES workshops day at UNESCO’s MOST Transformations Week.

Participation:

The BRIDGES workshops are suitable for a diverse range of participants including researchers; policymakers; Member State representatives; civil society organisations; UNESCO programmes, field offices and regional offices; youth representatives; and international partners. Registration is required by 24/09/26. Details to follow below.

Format:

You can register for one morning session and one afternoon session. Parallel two-hour co-creation sessions in small groups of 12 to 15 participants. Participants will draft practical templates to support the implementation of the Manifesto and Policy Framework across eight themes.

Testing Cycle:

Each thematic case will address a specific policy challenge by identifying essential elements for various contexts, adaptable elements for differing realities, anticipated customisation options, and additional institutional, territorial, and cultural considerations.

Organisers:

BRIDGES, UNESCO MOST, the Club of Rome, and the Julie Ann Wrigley Global Futures Laboratory (ASU), working alongside various member institutions and partners.

Location:

The workshops will take place across Rooms III, VIII, VIII bis, IX – UNESCO HQ, Paris.
